Quilling Jewelry with Susan Bernard

Quilling, also known at paper filigree, is the art of rolling and shaping paper to make complex designs and patterns.  Susan Bernard, jill-of-all-crafts, is going to teach you the simple techniques you need to make a variety of earrings, pendants or brooches.  The best thing about paper?  Unlike glass or metal, these things won't weigh you down!  Break out your inner drama and go big!  You'll forget you're even wearing them -- until complimented, of course.

Class includes full kit with all the tools and supplies you need.  You'll be making two to three pairs of earrings in class and taking home enough for many more!

Instructor is Susan Bernard.  We've had the pleasure of hosting Susan for a show of her gorgeous enamel work, but this is the first time she'll be teaching quilling with us!  She's also an instructor at Mighty Mud here in Knoxville and John C. Campbell Folk School.  Make sure to scope out the samples of her quilled earrings we have at the shop the next time you're in.  Seeing is believing!

We are sorry but registration for this event is now closed.

Please contact us if you would like to know if spaces are still available.
