These earrings were inspired by the amazing beadwork of various southwestern Native American tribes. No loom required!
This class is great for adventurous beginners with little to no experience working with wire. Even experienced wire workers will enjoy this unique design, have fun making it and enjoying the opportunity to take a class with a world class instructor.
Instructor is Melody MacDuffee, author of three books on wirework, as well as several more recent booklets and dozens of individually published jewelry designs. Melody has taught her distinctive jewelry-making techniques all over the U.S. and as far away as West Africa, where she ultimately co-founded a non-profit that provides paid training and steady jobs at a living wage for disadvantaged young adults of the Krobo tribe. Her Craftsy instructional video, Filigree Jewelry with a Twist!, came out in 2015, and she is a frequent guest artist on Jewelry Television’s Jewel School.
Wire and beads are included in this class. Tools will be provided for you to use during class.
