This Japanese braiding technique (pronounced: koo-mee-hee-moh) has been around for well over a thousand years. With new tool designs and modern fibers, this ancient technique is easy to learn and travels well, making it popular with jewelry makers all over the world. In this beginner class you’ll learn how to do a simple eight strand braid perfect for necklaces and bracelets. It’s also the technique to learn before you move on to braiding with beads. (And yes, we offer that class as well!)
Supplies are included, and your supply kit includes a Kumihimo disk, 8 bobbins, satin cord, end caps and clasp.
