Bead embroidery is a foundation stitch, one of those skills that you want to have in your beading arsenal. There’s no substitution for it! Gail will teach you how to use needle and thread on a foundation material to capture cabochons and create decorative rows of beads for this dense, fabric-like stitching, and how to apply a backing material, stitch the edges and add a bail to make a finished pendant. Bead embroidery has been practiced for hundreds of years by many cultures but remains very adaptive and modern. You don’t want to skip this one!
This class is appropriate for both beginners and experienced stitchers.
Your class fee includes a kit ($40 value) and full color instructions.
