Do you find yourself wondering what to do with all those beautiful, undrilled stones you were unable to resist, but don’t know how to work with? Well, here’s a unique, fast, and easy way to attractively bezel cabochons with wire and beads!
This class is great for beginners, and those with more experience will enjoy the projects and the opportunity to take a class with a world class instructor.
Instructor is Melody MacDuffee, author of three books on wirework, as well as several more recent booklets and dozens of individually published jewelry designs. Melody has taught her distinctive jewelry-making techniques all over the U.S. and as far away as West Africa, where she ultimately co-founded a non-profit that provides paid training and steady jobs at a living wage for disadvantaged young adults of the Krobo tribe. Her Craftsy instructional video, Filigree Jewelry with a Twist!, came out in 2015, and she is a frequent guest artist on Jewelry Television’s Jewel School.
Wire (two spools!) and accent beads are included in this class, and you will need to supply a cabochon you purchase or bring. (Melody always brings lots of beautiful and affordable cabs to shop from!). Tools will be provided for you to use during class.
