Russian spiral is a tubular stitch that can be done with a wide variety of different beads and sizes. You can use everything from tiny 15s to (comparatively) huge 4mm beads, and the look changes drastically! This one can be positively jewel encrusted or, as Gail will teach you with seed beads, lacy and petite. It’s the kind of stitch you’ll love to use with pendants, stack bracelets, or just a simple rope to toss on with every outfit.
Bead weaving experience is helpful before taking this class. Try any of our beginner bead weaving classes to build your skills in things like adding thread, adding a clasp, threading your needle and more. No worries, though – Gail can get you going if this is your first stitching class!
Instructor is Gail. You will receive a full color, step by step tutorial to keep. Supplies not included in class fee, and we will have several color ways picked out the day of the class, or you can come 15 minutes early to pick out your own colors. You can expect to spend $20 or more on supplies depending on your color choices and notions needed. You’ll get a complete supply list emailed to you with paid registration.
