Simple soldering doesn’t need to be complicated, but it does take practice once you learn the basics. In this class, Gail will teach you how to solder jump rings, make a toggle clasp set, and make ball-end head pins and ear wires.

My goal for you in this class is to learn the basic principles of how to solder silver, and learn to make a few basic findings you can use in your everyday beadwork.  Soldering takes practice, so I have loaded you up with all the tools and enough STERLING SILVER to keep on practicing at home right away!

Your class kit includes a torch, basic soldering tools and chemicals, sterling silver supplies (enough to make 10 toggles, 10 pairs of ear wires, 16 head pins and 25 soldered jump rings) and step by step instructions.

This class is great for beginners, and includes tools and supplies.  Everything you need to melt silver at home (just kidding – you’ll learn how not to melt your jump rings)!

Instructor is Gail.
