Tubular stitches are so much fun!  They’re great projects to keep your hands busy while sitting in front of the TV – yes, we all do it.  And herringbone is particularly good for it.  Once you get past that tricky first half inch, you’ll be hooked!  It’s quick, easy, and downright meditative!

In this class, you will learn basic tubular herringbone, how to adjust your thread path to make it twist, and how to add an additional bead to the basic tubular pattern to enhance the twist visually.

You will not finish a project in this class, but its simple repeat pattern will be easy to continue at home.

Prior beadweaving experience is highly recommended (such as our Beadweaving for Beginners class).  You should feel comfortable with holding your beadwork, adding thread and adding a clasp.

Staff instructor is Gail.  Tutorial is included, and you will need to purchase or bring your own supplies.  We will be using provided supplies to create a swatch to learn from, however you will need to provide beads for a complete finished project.  Supply list is provided with your paid registration.  You can expect to spend $10-$20 on beads and supplies.  The three hour class length allows for plenty of time to stitch extra length, however will will likely cover all the techniques in the first two hours in case you need to leave earlier.
